Accuse? A Basic Definition

To dream that you accuse any one of a mean action, denotes that you will have quarrels with those under you, and your dignity will be thrown from a high pedestal.
If you are accused, you are in danger of being guilty of distributing scandal in a sly and malicious way.

  • Dead Sea Scrolls THEFT: an insidious cultural campaign. Two wrongs don't make Zionist theft right!!!: The Dead Sea Scrolls, which are being exhibited this week at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) face political storm caused by protests at their being toured by the Israel Museum Opponents of the exhibit include the Palestinian Minister of Tourism and Canadian solidarity groups supporting the Palestinian cause. They accuse Israel of having stolen the scrolls from the Jordanian Department of Antiquities upon Israel's occupation of East Jerusalem and the West Bank in 1967. Israel's actions are contrary to international conventions protecting cultural artefacts and prohibiting their removal. Prior to 1967, the part of the West Bank in which the scrolls were discovered was [illegally] occupied by the Kingdom of Jordan If one doesn't like Israel's current possession of the scrolls because of Israel's oPt from which they come, one cannot like the Jordanian claim any better. Two wrongs don't make Zionist theft right!!!

  • Israel uses electric shock torture against children.: The Palestinian prisoner club accused the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) of committing new crimes of corporal torture against children through giving them electric shocks and beating them severely. The club said that Palestinian child Hamza Al-Za?aol, who was kidnapped on the fourth of May on a charge of throwing stones, told club lawyers that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) used electric shocks against him in Etzion prison while another child detained on the same day called Ismail Al-Za?aol said he was severely beaten especially in his broken leg. The club revealed that the number of children kidnapped during the first quarter of 2009 rose to 443 prisoners after kidnapping 14 minors this year. In another related context, the popular committee against torture said in a report issued that the IOF troops and the Shin Bet security service deliberately tortured Palestinian detainees through handcuffing them in a painful manner contrary to international law.

  • Israeli doctors colluding in torture ? while world?s medical ethics chief turns blind eye by Jonathan Cook: Israel?s watchdog body on medical ethics has failed to investigate evidence that doctors working in detention facilities are turning a blind eye to cases of torture, according to Israeli human rights groups. The Israeli Medical Association (IMA) has ignored repeated requests to examine such evidence, the rights groups say, even though it has been presented with examples of Israeli doctors who have broken their legal and ethical duty towards Palestinians in their care. The accusations will add fuel to a campaign backed by hundreds of doctors from around the world to force Yoram Blachar, who heads the IMA, to step down from his recent appointment as president of the World Medical Association (WMA). More than 700 doctors have signed a petition arguing that Dr Blachar has disqualified himself from leadership of the WMA, the profession?s governing ethical body, by effectively condoning torture in Israel.
  • Hamas: Amnesty report accusing us of war crimes is 'unfair' - Haaretz - Israel News: Hamas criticized a report issued by global human rights group Amnesty International, which accuses both Israel and Hamas of committing war crimes in Gaza. Hamas said in response that the report was "imbalanc ed and unfair" In its first in-depth human rights report on the recent Israeli offensive in Gaza, Amnesty International accused both Israel and Hamas of committing war crimes during the fighting earlier this year. The group charged that the IDF killed hundreds of Palestinian civilians and destroyed thousands of Gaza Strip homes in attacks that amounted to war crimes, and denounced Hamas for firing rockets into civilian areas of southern Israel. In response, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said that "instead of wasting time with reports, Israeli murderers should be put on trial," Army Radio reported. The Hamas spokesman "They didn't check their facts with any Hamas leader," he accused the human rights group.

  • Afghan president accuses US-trained guards of killing police chief Hamid Karzai demands that coalition forces hand over guards but US military says shooting was 'Afghan-on-Afg han': Karzai accused Afghan guards working for US coalition forces of killing a provincial police chief and at least four other security officers during a gun battle outside a government office. In a harshly worded statement, Karzai demanded that coalition forces hand over the guards involved. But the governor of Kandahar later said that 41 US-trained private security guards had been disarmed and arrested by Afghan authorities. US military said it was not involved in shooting, calling it an "Afghan-o n-Afghan incident" . Karzai's statement suggested that the guards sought refuge in a US coalition base after the killings, and he "demanded that coalition forces prevent such incidents, which weaken the government&quo t;. The situation lays bare the often testy relations between Karzai and US officials. His accusations come as US marines and soldiers are deployed across southern Afghanistan, the Taliban's stronghold and a region where Karzai is seeking votes ahead of presidential election

  • Padilla v. Yoo The man once accused of being a 'dirty bomber' is cleared to sue a key player in George W. Bush's 'war on terror.': JOHN YOO provided key -- and, we believe, wrong -- legal advice that gave the Bush administration cover for many of its dubious "war on terror" policies. But a judge's decision to allow accused "dirty-bo mber" Jose Padilla to proceed with a lawsuit against Yoo is troubling. Padilla, a U.S. citizen, was detained in 2002 after law-enforcemen t officials suspected him of plotting to detonate a radiological "dirty bomb" in the US Padilla was never tried for this alleged offense; he was instead labeled an enemy combatant and imprisoned in a South Carolina brig without access to counsel or any semblance of due process. Padilla alleges in his lawsuit that he was subjected to harsh treatment -- from extreme temperatures to sleep and sensory deprivation to solitary confinement -- that violated his constitutional rights and amounted to torture. Padilla claims that Yoo should be held personally liable Padilla is seeking $1 in damages

  • Group linked to Israeli lobby, neocons releases another Islamophobic film. A new documentary from a shadowy non-profit, the Clarion Fund, has ties to groups widely accused of Islamophobia.: The Third Jihad purports to educate US citizens about the threat of a "cultural Jihad" by the country's own Muslim-America n population. The film goes to great lengths to define itself as an expose of radical Muslim elements, not the faith at large. But a group called the International Free Press Society (IFPS), which attended the Washington premiere of the film and documented the screening on behalf of the production company on a social media website, has some dubious affiliations. 2 months ago, IFPS heavily promoted Dutch parliamentaria n Geert Wilders, a widely-known Islamophobe who has been tied to far-right European political parties. An IPS investigation linked both Wilders and some of his US and international supporters, including members of IFPS, with the Vlaams Belang (VB), or Flemish Interest. Vlaams Belang is a nationalist Flemish party that has demanded amnesty for Nazi collaborators in Belgium.

  • UN Inquiry Critical of Israeli Attacks in Gaza. A detailed 184-page report critical of Israeli attacks on UN personnel and buildings during the Gaza conflict last Dec-Jan has been meticulously stripped down to a 27-page document: - mostly due to political sensitivities and on security grounds. Responding to charges he had released only a "watered down" version of the report by a 4-member UN Board of Inquiry (BoI), Ban Ki-moon vehemently denied the accusation. "I would like to categorically reject any impression, any word, called watered down," he told reporters. "I told you that this Board of Inquiry is independent. I respect the complete independence of this report." "You may ask all our senior advisers who have been working on this. I do not have any authority to edit or change any wording on this conclusion and recommendation s. You should have no doubt about that," he added. The BoI, comprising Ian Martin, Larry Johnson, Sinha Basnayake and Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Eichenberger, was mandated to investigate the 9 most serious incidents involving UN personnel and property during the sustained Israeli military attacks on Gaza during the conflict with Hamas.
